JAMAICA | PNP wants Holness to step in at NESOL

KINGSTON, Jamaica, July 13, 2018: The People’s National Party (PNP) Shadow Minister of Energy, Phillip Paulwell, wants PM Holness,  to immediately remove Mrs. Carolyn Warren as Managing Director of the National Energy Solutions Limited (formerly Rural Electrification Programme) as she has a criminal record, having been convicted for narcotics trafficking.

JAMAICA | Visa Restrictions Eased for Some Haitian Nationals

MONTEGO BAY, July 11, 2018 - Following a move by Barbados abolishing visa requirements for Haitian nationals, Jamaica has announced a protocol that will remove visa requirements only for Haitians who wish to travel to other countries by way of Jamaica.
