Granger and Bouterse to discuss regional, bilateral matters

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA, July 1, 2016 - President David Granger is due in Suriname on Friday for talks with his counterpart, Desi Bouterse, on “continental, regional and bilateral issues, which are relevant to both countries,” according to an official statement issued here.

CARICOM determined to preserve Guyana’s territorial integrity

Georgetown, Guyana – (June 2, 2016) Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Ambassador Irwin LaRocque on Wednesday said that the Community remained unwavering in its determination to preserve Guyana’s territorial integrity. He gave the commitment when he met with President David Granger at the Ministry of the Presidency.
