Trinidad hosts CARICOM Meeting on Ebola, Chik V

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 -  Heads of Government of  the  Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will convene a special meeting in Trinidad today to discuss the Ebola virus, and the chikungunya disease, a mostly non-fatal but debilitating illness that is at this time striking down communities in the Caribbean.

Cuba to Host International Course against Ebola

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov. 1 (acn) The Havana-based Pedro Kouri Tropical Medicine Institute will be the venue to the first International Course for the prevention and fighting against Ebola in the Americas, Cuban deputy health minister Marcia Cobas announced.The course will run from November 10 to 15.
