JAMAICA | Country must not return to IMF — Clarke

KINGSTON, Jamaica (JIS) April 12, 2012  — Finance and the Public Service Minister, Dr Nigel Clarke, says Jamaica must be disciplined in the management of its economic affairs in order to ensure that there will be no need to return to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), once the current programme relationship ends.

  KINGSTON, November 18, 2016 - KINGSTON, November 18, 2016 - The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) says the country has recorded the strongest growth estimate in real GDP in nine years, with a 2.2 per cent growth for the July to September quarter, and a projected 1 to 2 percent growth for the fiscal year 2016/17.
