Japan supporting Jamaican culture

KINGSTON, Jamaica (JIS) – The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, is hailing the Japanese Government for its continued support of cultural programmes in Jamaica.

G7 summit opens in southern Germany on Sunday

TASS - The G7 summit will open in the Elmau Palace, located to the south of Munich in Bavarian Alps, on Sunday. At the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the gathering in Bavaria will be attended by U.S. President Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Canadian Premier Steven Harper and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

CARICOM Foreign Ministers hail Japan summit as a success

TOKYO, Japan, Nov 15 – Caribbean Community (CARICOM) foreign ministers have hailed the one-day summit with their Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida as a success, and have welcomed Tokyo’s solidarity with the region on many global issues.

KINGSTON Jamaica  — Caribbean Community (CARICOM) foreign ministers including Jamaica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade AJ Nicholson will meet with their Japanese counterpart on Friday for talks aimed at strengthening the relations between the 15-member regional grouping and Japan.
