US Taxpayers Spent US$1.6 Trillion on War Since 9/11

December 24, 2014 - The United States government has spent US$1.6 trillion dollars on war since the September 11, 2001 attacks, according to a recent report by the Congressional Research Service (CRS). This means U.S. taxpayers have shelled out roughly $337 million a day for the last 13 years.
