JAMAICA | Slide in Ja dollar - The poorest will suffer says PSOJ

KINGSTON, June 18, 2018 - With the Jamaican dollar now trading at J$132.20 down from J$132.53 as per the Bank of Jamaica's daily foreign exchange trading summary, the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) has declared that Jamaica's poorest will be the ones hit hardest by the latest slide in the Jamaican dollar.

KINGSTON, June 8, 2018 - New rules have been developed to guide the operations of public boards, including the retention of at least one third of the previous Board of Directors to ensure continuity in governance. This is the word from Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Dr Nigel Clarke as he Addressed the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce yesterday.
