CARICOM upset over EU Blacklisting as Tax Havens

ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES: MAY 11, 2016 - The Nineteenth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) ended with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs expressing concern over blacklisting of some CARICOM member states by the EU, as non-cooperative tax havens and the withdrawal of correspondent banking services, both of which have had an adverse impact on CARICOM States.

CARICOM to maintain strategic relationships

ST.VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, May 9, 2016 - The critical importance of  CARICOM maintaining traditional relationships and building new ones was underscored by Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque as he addressed CARICOM Foreign Ministers who are gathered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the 19th Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR).

CARICOM foreign ministers to meet Monday

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent (CMC) – Caribbean Community (Caricom) foreign ministers will meet here on Monday amid the unfolding of a number of major geopolitical issues, the Guyana-based Caricom Secretariat has announced.
