Barbados Working To Implement CSME-Related Decisions

Bridgetown, July 25, 2018 - Barbados has started its mobilisation campaign to implement decisions related to the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), for which it has lead responsibility, as mandated by Heads of Government at the recently concluded 39th Regular Meeting in Jamaica.

JAMAICA | Visa Restrictions Eased for Some Haitian Nationals

MONTEGO BAY, July 11, 2018 - Following a move by Barbados abolishing visa requirements for Haitian nationals, Jamaica has announced a protocol that will remove visa requirements only for Haitians who wish to travel to other countries by way of Jamaica.

CARICOM Leaders wants Measures Put in Place for Easier Regional Travel

MONTEGO BAY, JULY 6, 2018 - Caribbean Community (CARICOM) leaders are proposing that measures be put in place to facilitate easier travel within the community. Among the suggestions are the establishment of a single domestic space for hassle-free intra-regional travel; and the introduction of a CARICOM multipurpose identification.
