KINGSTON, Jamaica March 22, 2018 - Prime Minister Andrew Holness, has announced that the National Unattached Youth Programme will now be absorbed under the Housing, Opportunity, Production and Employment (HOPE) project, targeting a total of 12,600 youth across Jamaica in the 2018/2019 fiscal year.

A joint Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF)/Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) team was deployed to the area this morning to undertake enhanced security measures for an initial 14 days, in accordance with the Emergency Powers Act.
