GRENADA | Increased activities at Kick ’em Jenny volcano

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, May 1, CMC – Disaster officials in Grenada said that the region’s only submarine volcano, Kick ‘em Jenny, showed “continuous activity” on Monday with at least “43 mostly low magnitudes volcanic earthquakes” over an 18 hour period.

GRENADA-Government defends payment to public workers

GEORGE’S, Grenada, Jan 16, CMC – A senior Grenada government official Monday defended the decision to make a one-off payment of EC$1,000 (One Ec dollar =US$0.37 cents) to public servants for the period 2013-16, saying anything higher will be a violation of the Fiscal Responsibility legislation.

Grenada government presents EC$1.1 billion budget to Parliament
