San Salvador, Jan 13 (Prensa Latina) The Salvadoran government rejected today statements made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, against the Central American country and in impairment of the dignity of other nations, like Haiti.

The Salvadoran Executive sent a protest note to the US government, after Trump accepted the use of hard words to refer to other nations of Africa, El Salvador and Haiti, in the social network Twitter.

'El Salvador demands respect to the dignity of its noble and brave people, in the frame of the principles guiding the relations between the states and in the context of the current historical links between both nations, which we will keep on working for strengthening', said the Foreign Office in a bulletin.

The Foreign Ministry also emphasized the high value of the Salvadorans, on having remembered their contribution in the works for the reconstruction of the US Pentagon, after the mortal terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001; as well as in the recovery of New Orleans, after the devastating Hurricane Katrina.

It also highlighted the role of El Salvador along with the United States and other nations in numerous international peace missions.

Donald Trump pushed back a project Thursday,of two-party agreement on immigration, which would include the protection of Haitian, Salvadoran citizens, and of some African nations.
