JAMAICA | Jackson re-tables amendment to the Banking Act

KINGSTON, April 12, 2018 - Another attempt is being made by Opposition Member of Parliament for St. Catherine Southern Fitz Jackson to have amendments made to the Banking Services Act, aimed at eliminating the thousands of dollars in fees that depositors have to pay for services at the island's commercial banks.

BAHAMAS authorities conduct survey on banking services

NASSAU, Bahamas, Feb 21, CMC –The Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) says it has conducted a Consumer Banking Survey (CBS) to gauge public opinion and perception on the services provided by local clearing banks, and the level of fees associated with the provision of those services.
