Byles expects Jamaica's economic growth to continue

KINGSTON. September 15, 2016 - Co-Chair of the Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC), Richard Byles, has described the 1.1 per cent growth in gross domestic product (GDP) for the April to June quarter as “pretty good”, and that he expects the country to continue this momentum.

EPOC Chair proposes a delay of $1.5M tax plan

KINGSTON, April 13, 2016 -  Co-Chairman of the Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC), Richard Byles has mooted that in the interest of the economy,  government postpone plans to provide income tax relief to PAYE workers earning up to $1.5 million annually.
