BELIZE Optimistic That Agreement On Super Bond Can Be Reached

BELMOPAN, Belize, Feb 21, CMC – The Belize government says it remains optimistic that an agreement will be reached regarding the restructuring of the so-called “Super Bond 3.0” even as it acknowledged that it was not able to meet the US$26 million payment the country’s consolidated billion dollar debt.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Dec 13, CMC – The Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) says it has approved a grant of one million pounds (One British Pound =US$1.26 cents) dollars to assist in financing a technical assistance project for the rehabilitation of the Coastal Highway in Belize.
