BARBADOS | PM Stuart likens CCJ to politicians wearing robes

BRIDGETOWN, May 21, 2018 — Prime Minister Fruendel Stuart is not happy with the decisions coming from the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), and has told party faithfuls that if his Democratic Labour Party (DLP) is re-elected in Thursday's general election, his administration will leave the CCJ in its appellate jurisdiction.

ROSEAU, Dominica, Feb 20, CMC – Dominican show promoter, Cabal Douglas, Monday said that the Trinidad-based Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) had “squandered a tremendous opportunity to build its credibility as an international court” when it dismissed an application he filed accusing the Dominica government of causing a breach of contract with the Jamaican entertainer Tommy Lee Sparta.

CCJ hands down ruling in first matter out of Dominica

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Jan 27, CMC –  The Trinidad-based Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) Friday ordered the Marinor Enterprises Limited and Michael Astaphan of Dominica to pay EC$8,000 (One EC dollar =US$0.37 cents) to First Caribbean International Bank (Barbados) Limited.
