Belize PM urges OAS not to bow to Guatemalan pressure

BELMOPAN, Belize, Sept 13, CMC – Prime Minister Dean Barrow says he does not expect Guatemala to issue an apology following the incident that led to the death of a Guatemalan teenager adding that he hopes the Organization of American States (OAS) will not bow to pressure from his Central American neighbour.

Belize welcomes OAS report on shooting death of teenager

BELMOPAN, Belize, Aug 26, CMC – The Belize government has welcomed the findings of the Organization of American States (OAS) into the shooting death of a Guatemalan teenager earlier this year that had threatened to escalate the border dispute between the two countries.
