JAMAICA | Explain Decision to close the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica ! says Paulwell

KINGSTON, Jamaica. September 13, 2019: The People’s National Party’s (PNP) Shadow Minister of Mining and Energy, Mr. Phillip Paulwell wants both Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Energy Minister Flaval Williams, to provide  immediate justification of the Cabinet’s decision to close the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) and subsume its functions in the Ministry of Mining, Energy and Technology (MSET).

Wigton Signs US$40 Million Contract for 24 MW Expansion

KINGSTON, January 20, 2015 - Wigton Windfarm Limited, a subsidiary of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) has signed a contract valued at approximately US$40 million with the Spanish firm, Gamesa, for the construction of Wigton III, a 24MW expansion of its wind farm complex in Rose Hill, Manchester.
