GUYANA | US now backs Guyana in border row with Venezuela

GEORGETOWN, November 17, 2018 - The official United States (US)  position on the Guyana-Venezuela border controversy has shifted in favour of Guyana. This is the word from the US Deputy Chief of Mission in Guyana, Terry Steers-Gonzalez, who noted that previously, the US would simply support a timely resolution of the controversy. Now it wants the 1899 arbitration award respected.

GUYANA | Jagdeo’s no-confidence motion will be defeated says APNU+AFC

This is the word from governing coalition A Partnership for National Unity+ Alliance For Change (APNU+AFC) which said on Friday that all of its 33 parliamentarians will unite in voting down the no-confidence motion moved by the Opposition.
