Since December of last year, numerous messages for the president were shared in social networks, media or even during Kagama official audiences, to wish him good services as president of the UA in 2018 and the continuing responsibility to reform the block and take it towards self-sustainability.
According to analysts, President Kagame will have heavy tasks ahead, including integration and migration, conflicts and wars; the revitalization of peace efforts in many countries, besides supervising the institutional reforms of the African Union.
The hope of many Africans now lies in the hands of their leaders and, in this case, in Kagame, whose vision and experience helped to rebuild Rwanda from the ashes of the genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.
