JAMAICA | PNP talks with Chinese Company may bring reward for Jamaican workers

KINGSTON, Jamaica, November 18, 2018: Shadow Minister of Mining and Energy,  Phillip Paulwell  has told  the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) that the Chinese company  Jiuguan Iron and Steel (Group) Company Limited (JISCO), has reiterated a commitment that more job opportunities in its mining operations will be afforded to Jamaican workers over their Chinese counterparts at the Alpart plant based in St Elizabeth.
