CARICOM | LaRocque laments dangers of Plastic pollution in the Caribbean

GEORGETOWN, JUNE 8, 2018 - CARICOM Secretary General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, has expressed concern at the data which shows that five trillion plastic bags are used each year and one million plastic bottles are bought each minute, giving pause to the CARICOM Region to focus on our ocean resources and the reality of plastic pollution in the Caribbean Sea.

Dominica national awards for CARICOM Secretary General and UWI Vice Chancellor
