JA's Tourism Minister Anticipates 3% Growth

MONTEGO BAY, MAY 3, 2016 - Tourism Minister, Hon. Edmund Bartlett  says indications are that visitor arrivals during the 2015/2016 Winter Tourism Season were not as robust as expected, pointing out that the Winter Tourist Season, which started on December 15 and ended April 15, might have been impacted by the February 25 general election as well as the presence of the Zika virus.

McNeill Calls for Nations to Practise Responsible Tourism

Lighting of MoBay's Elegant Corridor Going Well

MONTEGO BAY, February 9, 2015- Minister of Tourism and Entertainment, Dr. Wykeham McNeill, says work on the installation of energy-saving street lights along Montego Bay’s “elegant corridor” is proceeding well and the project should be completed by the middle of this year.
