JAMAICA |Security Forces Remain Committed to Safety and Security

KINGSTON, Jamaica, January 3, 2019 - The Government of Jamaica and Security Forces remain resolute in their commitment to safety and security in the country. Thgis is the word from Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his security chiefs, after an intense two-day consultation meeting, reaffirmed the Government’s position on tackling crime and restoring security and safety across the island.

KINGSTON, Jamaica, January 2, 2019 - Despite the fall-through of a meeting called with Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips for ten o'clock this morning to discuss security matters, which the Opposition Leader said he was unable to make due to scheduling conflicts, both leaders at the urging of civil society and the private sector, held private discussions this afternoon at Vale Royal.

CARICOM concerned over Interception of Research Vessel
