'Champs' and CARIFTA Games recipients of World Athletics Heritage Plaque

MONACO, IAAF, April 23, 2019 - Jamaica's Inter-Secondary Schools Boys and Girls Championships, Champs, as well as the CARIFTA Games, have become the lastet recipients of the World Athletics Heritage Plaque from the the international governing body for the sport of athletics, the International Association of Athletics Federations- IAAF.

Caster Semenya v IAAF: ruling will have big implications for women’s participation in sport

When can a woman not compete with other women? This is, in essence, the question at the heart of the hearing currently before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the international body that helps settle disputes related to sport. The ruling in the case of Mokgadi Caster Semenya and Athletics South Africa v International Associations of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is due at the end of April.

IAAF Global Running Conference China 2019 to focus on Social, Economic, and Environmental Impacts of Road Races

More than 600 attendees, representing much of the international road race industry, are expected to attend the two-day event, which will focus on the positive impacts of road racing on urban settings. Delegates will represent 100 IAAF label races from around the world while nearly 300 attendees will be representing other road races in China, the world’s fastest growing market for recreational running.
