BARBADOS | Economy Likely To Lose $150 Million In February

BRIDGETOWN,   February 15, 2021 - Barbados is expected to lose about $150 million in economic activity for the month of February. This is the word from Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley  as she addressed the nation on issues pertaining to COVID-19, the impact of the disease on the economy and the vaccine, among others.

JAMAICA | With record COVID-19 cases, Holness tightens curfew hours

KINGSTON, February 9, 2021 – In light of the record increase in the number of persons testing positive for the  SARS Cov2 virus in Jamaica over the past few days, prime minister Andrew Holness has announced that starting Wednesday  February 10, the islandwide curfew will begin at 8:00 pm nightly and end at 5:00 am.
