Bridgetown, BARBADOS. October 6, 2020: Barbados' Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has challenged the European Union’s decision to list Barbados as a Non-cooperative Jurisdiction for Tax Purposes. In a statement today, Prime Minister Mottley described the action as reprehensible, unjustified and disproportionate, noting that "this might be regarded as bullying at worst and at best, actions to preserve the competitiveness of the EU."
