While The Cuban Revolution is known the world over for its advances in combating structural racism, anti-Black racism persists at a personal level, and a coalition of Afro-Cuban woman are borrowing a page from the Black Lives Matter Movement to complete the revolution´s unfinished business.

Obama arrives in Cuba;the first for a US President in 88 years

HAVANA, CUBA, March 20, 2016 - US President Barack Obama has cemented himself in world history, landing at Havana Airport aboard Air Force One at 4:29pm Sunday,  and becoming first sitting U.S. President to visit the island nation in 88 years. He is accompanied by 38 members of Congress as well as 15 members of the US business community.
