JAMAICA | PNP wants gov't to fund Councils to fight COVID-19

KINGSTON, Jamaica, March 16, 2020: Opposition Shadow Minister of Transport and Works, and Member of Parliament of North West Manchester, Mr. Mikael Phillips, is urging the government to use its emergency procurement powers to provide funding to the Municipal Councils across the island so that communities facing drought conditions, in light of the imminent national threat of the coronavirus, can be assisted.
