White House demands unconditional release of Alan Goss
Washington, Dec 5.- Amidst the world wide call by the United Nations and the overwhelming majority of its Member states for the United States to release its fifty year old economic stranglehold against the Cuban government, the White House on Wednesday urged Cuba to release U.S. government subcontractor Alan Gross, who is serving a 15-year sentence on the Communist-ruled island after being convicted for subversion.
