Jamaica’s COVID-19 Cases Increase To 143

KINNGSTON, April 16, 2020 - Jamaica now has 143 confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. This is ther word from Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton, as he gave an update on Thursday during a virtual press conference from his New Kingston offices.

JAMAICA Imposes Travel Ban To And From China in wake of Coronavirus

OCHO RIOS,  February 1, 2020 - In light of the Coronavirus being declared a global health emergency, the Jamaica Government has imposed a travel ban on all flights to and from China, and Jamaicans are also strongly advised not to travel to that country.

JAMAICA | Ministry of Health Establishes Medicinal Cannabis Unit

KINGSTON, JUNE 7, 2018 - The Ministry of Health has established a Medicinal Cannabis Unit (MCU) as part of measures to facilitate the medical marijuana industry’s development in Jamaica.
