Palestinians Slam US Ambassador to Israel's Annexation Remarks

Reacting to comments by the U.S. ambassador in Israel, Palestine Liberation Organization Chief Saeb Erekat said Sunday that U.S. President Donald Trump's vision of Palestine was "annexation of occupied territory, a war crime according to international law."

What will Trump’s declaration on Jerusalem mean to Palestinians?

When President Donald Trump on Dec. 6  recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he not only effectively endorsed Israel’s de facto annexation of East Jerusalem, which Palestinians have also long claimed as their own – he also radically altered the direction of American foreign policy in the Middle East.

Do Black Lives Matter in Israel?

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, January 6, 2018 - The Andrew Holness led JLP administration, not unlike former Jamaica Labour Party administrations since Edward Seaga, continue to have a better than cordial relationship with the state of Israel, despite the fact that the Israelis have been hostile to Black people in general, and have displayed outright racist tendencies to black Jews, Palestinians, Africans  and all people of colour who have chosen to settle in Israel.

CNN TV Host, Fired For Urging a Free Palestine, Apologizes

Marc Lamont Hill, a Temple University professor and former CNN analyst who was fired for calling for a “free Palestine” at the United Nations, issued an apology for hurting the sentiments of his “Jewish brothers and sisters.”
