Opposition Uses Maduro Family Drug Case to Revive Impeachment

In its latest show of division, elements of the Venezuelan opposition appear to be using the U.S. drug case against two nephews of Venezuela’s first lady in order to halt the Vatican-brokered peace talks with the government after the case was brought up during a Tuesday night National Assembly session.

Opposition PNP wants Jamaica to justify its vote at OAS summit

KINGSTON, Jamaica June 28, 2016– Jamaica's main Opposition, the People's National Party,wants the Government to declare Jamaica’s position on whether to accept the agenda at the recent meeting called by the Permanent Council of the Organisation of American States (OAS), which failed to recognize the legitimacy of the democratically elected government of Venezuela.
