CARICOM | Heads of government start busy week for CARICOM

CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana - Thursday, 14 January 2021  -  Heads of Government set the stage for an active start to 2021 for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) when on Tuesday they continued their discussions towards initiating the economic recovery of the Region which has been devastated by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

T&T | PM Rowley recouperating well after angioplasty surgery

MONTEGO BAY,  January 12, 2021- Reports out of Trinidad and Tobago says prime minister Dr. Keith Rowley is recuperating well, after having angioplasty surgery at the Westshore Private Hospital in Cocorite last Saturday. He was admitted last Friday after complaining of discomfort.

MONTEGO BAY, January 1, 2021 - Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Keith Rowley is the new Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). He takes over the portfolio from St. Vincent and the Grenadines prime minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves who served as regional Chair for the past six months.

CARICOM | Sanders flays OAS for allowing Guaidó attack on Trinidad and Tobago

MONTEGO BAY, December 19, 2020 - Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda to the United States and the Organisation of American States, Sir Ronald Sanders has described as “sordid” and “a presumptuous assault,” an attack on the Government of Trinidad and Tobago by a representative of Juan Guaidó at a meeting of the Organization of American States last Wednesday over the drowning death of 16 Venezuelan refugees at sea.
