Leaders like Alan George St. Clarke Coombs, Herbert Eldemire and the ‘Dean of Cornwall’ Howard Cooke whose legacy can be seen by the monument they left behind.

Kellier tells PNP delegates Don't take the JLP lightly

ROSE HALL, St James, May 30, 2016 — Vice-president of the Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) Derrick Kellier yesterday told delegates that the party has only itself to blame for the defeat in the February 25 General Election, and urged them to desist from playing “the blame game”.

Drought stricken farmers get supplies from Kellier

KINGSTON, Jamaica (JIS) — Banana and plantain farmers in St Mary and Portland, who have been affected by the recent drought, have received donations of planting material from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to resuscitate their farms and boost production.
Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Derrick Kellier, addressing farmers at the Frazer Church of God of Prophecy in Cascade, St. Ann, on December 3 during a tour of farming communities in the parish. The occasion was a tour of some seven key farming communities in St. Ann, to examine the effects of the drought conditions on farming activities.

Kellier praises Farmers in St. Ann for helping to reduce food import bill

With the $5.014 billion dollar decline in the country’s food import bill, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries,  Derrick Kellier is praising farmers in St. Ann, for their resilience and commitment, who, despite the drought conditions, successfully increased food production, which aided in the reduction of the country’s food import bill.

Kellier urges Farmers To Register With RADA

Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Derrick Kellier has called on farmers to be registered with the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), as the data is necessary in the planning of the overall food security of the country.
