T&T | Jack Warner is Back - To contest elections under ILP Ticket

PORT-OF-SPAIN,  July 18, 2020 - The controversial, enigmatic and mercurial Jack Warner is back. Yesterday he announced he is contesting the Lopinot/Bon Air seat under an Independent Liberal Party (ILP) ticket.The 77-year-old Warner whose political gamesmanship is rivalled only by the legendary Basdeo Panday, filed his nomination papers on Friday morning under the ILP  which he founded in 2013, after breaking away from the Kamla Persad-Bissessar-led People's Partnership.
