Cuba and USA diplomatic meetings begin on January 21

It is expected that on 21 and 22 January begin diplomatic meetings between Cuba and the United States. The Assistant Secretary for Latin America of the US State Department, Roberta Jacobson, arrive in Havana on that date under the restoration of relations between the two countries, announced last December.

According to information from the State Department theme that will guide the meeting will be "the normalization of diplomatic relations." Furthermore, it is expected to clarify the status of embassies and visa issuance.
