BARBADOS | Six More Months For Cuban Nurses In Barbados

BRIDGETOWN,  Barbados, October 6, 2020 - Despite efforts by the United States government to intimidate regional countries  being assisted by the Cuban Government in the provision of nurses and doctors to fight the Coronavirus pandemic, the Cuban contingent of nurses, who were assigned to help Barbados in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, will continue their work on the island for another six months.

BARBADOS | Mottley objects to EU's Blacklisting of Barbados, Anguilla

Bridgetown, BARBADOS. October 6, 2020: Barbados' Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has  challenged the European Union’s decision to list Barbados as a Non-cooperative Jurisdiction for Tax Purposes. In a statement today, Prime Minister Mottley described the action as reprehensible, unjustified and disproportionate, noting that "this might be regarded as bullying at worst and at best, actions to preserve the competitiveness of the EU."

BARBADOS | B'dos to relinquish sovereign ties with Britain in a year, will Jamaica follow suit?
