HAITI | President Jovenel Moïse alleges coup conspiracy; 20 arrested

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — Haitian President Jovenel Moïse announced Sunday that police have arrested more than 20 people he accused of trying to kill him and overthrow his government, including a judge who has the support of opposition leaders demanding that Moïse step down.

GUYANA | 26 Haitian nationals released after a grueling month in detention

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, December 10, 2020 - After public pressure from the Opposition and Civil Society, the 26 Haitian nationals who police took from a hotel on November 7 and placed in detention at the Hugo Chavez Centre in Berbice, were rounded up last evening and indecently dumped in front of the city hotel where some of them were staying before being held.

HAITI | US Deports Haitian Death Squad Leader to Haiti
