UNITED NATIONS | CARICOM Nations tell UN: Respect Venezuelan Sovereignty

UNITED NATIONS, New York, NY, Sept 28, 2019 - Several Caribbean heads of state spoke Friday afternoon at the 74th United Nations General Assembly taking place in New York this week, each of them came out in support of Venezuela and Cuba, and urged leaders to quickly mitigate climate change.

CARICOM again calls for non-intervention and dialogue in Venezuela

GEORGETOWN,  Guyana, March 1, 2019 - Amidst hightened tensions in  neighbouring Venezuela,  the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) says it is deeply concerned by the recent further escalation of tensions in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the ensuing increase in hardship and suffering of the population exacerbated by the imposition of sanctions.
