JAMAICA | $400-Million Programme To Ramp Up Food Production

KINGSTON April 14, 2020 - Agriculture Minister Audley Shaw, says his Ministry will be spending some $100 million on a programme aimed at mitigating the impact of drought on farmers and to gain at least a five-per cent growth in food production.

Fulton files $25m Suit against RADA for breach of contract

RADA Conducting Survey among Farmers to Tackle Drought

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), Mr. Lenworth Fulton, says the agency is now conducting a national survey to determine the number of farmers who are interested in practising water harvesting techniques,  beyond just having a “black tank” on their farm.
