Cuba 'Will Never Go Back' to the OAS says Raul

For Cuba to rejoin the OAS, "first the Southern sea would join the Northern sea, and a serpent would be born from the eagle's egg," declared Cuban President Raul Castro. “Cuba will never go back to the Organization of American States,” Cuban President Raul Castro said on Saturday at the seventh summit of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) in Havana.

Obama arrives in Cuba;the first for a US President in 88 years

HAVANA, CUBA, March 20, 2016 - US President Barack Obama has cemented himself in world history, landing at Havana Airport aboard Air Force One at 4:29pm Sunday,  and becoming first sitting U.S. President to visit the island nation in 88 years. He is accompanied by 38 members of Congress as well as 15 members of the US business community.

US May Drop Program Helping Cuban Doctors Defect

The White House may end a program encouraging Cuban doctors sent abroad to defect and move to the United States. The program, created under George W. Bush in 2006, is under review as a part of ongoing negotiations to normalize relations with Cuba, reported Reuters on Friday.
