GUYANA | Hess Announces Oil Discovery at Uaru, Offshore Guyana - 8 billion oil-equivalent barrels

NEW YORK--January 27, 2020 - (BUSINESS WIRE)--Hess Corporation (NYSE: HES) today announced another oil discovery offshore Guyana at the Uaru well, the 16th discovery on the Stabroek Block. The company also announced an increase in the estimated gross discovered recoverable resources for the block to more than 8 billion barrels of oil equivalent, up from the previous estimate of 6 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

GUYANA | ExxonMobil discovers oil offshore Guyana at Mako-1 well

IRVING, Texas December 23, 2019 – ExxonMobil said today it made an oil discovery offshore Guyana at the Mako-1 well southeast of the Liza field, marking the 15th discovery on the Stabroek Block. The discovery adds to the previously announced estimated recoverable resource of more than 6 billion oil-equivalent barrels on the Stabroek Block.
