JAMAICA now has 257 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases and seven deaths

KINGSTON, April 24, 2020 - The National Surveillance Unit in the Ministry of Health & Wellness has reported that in the last 48 hours, 14 additional samples have tested positive for COVID-19 ). This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Jamaica to 257 and seven deaths, with the latest and youngest being a four year old boy who died yesterday at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in St. James.

JAMAICA | Health Centres seeing significant patient increase

KINGSTON,  February 25, 2018 - There has been a forty one per cent (41%) increase in the number of patients attending the island's  health centres, with an approximate twenty per cent (20%) of these visits occurring as a result of their extended hours.
