IDB President impressed with Jamaica's progress

President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) LUIS Alberto Moreno, says he was "truly impressed" with the country's progress since his last visit and "commended the Prime Minister and her Government  for their commitment to reform Jamaica’s economy and to confirm our Bank’s strong support for Jamaica."

OAS experts to support Cyber Security efforts in Jamaica

KINGSTON, December 18, 2014 - The Organization of American States (OAS) has deployed a team of experts to Kingston, Jamaica, at the request of the country´s government, to provide cyber security incident management support and to help establish the country’s National Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), as part of a broader initiative by the OAS Cyber Security Program which includes the creation of a National Cyber Security Strategy.
