CARICOM adopts10-point plan to fight Ebola, Chick-V

PORT OF SPAIN,  Trinidad and Tobago, Nov. 5, 2014 - Caribbean Community Heads of Government have adopted a ten-point plan of action to ensure the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) does not reach the region. The announcement was made after a four-hour meeting held at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s yesterday afternoon. 

Trinidad hosts CARICOM Meeting on Ebola, Chik V

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 -  Heads of Government of  the  Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will convene a special meeting in Trinidad today to discuss the Ebola virus, and the chikungunya disease, a mostly non-fatal but debilitating illness that is at this time striking down communities in the Caribbean.
