'Leave Venezuela Alone': Brazil's Lula Tells Trump in Interview

In an interview aired Tuesday from the Federal Prison in Curitiba, Brazil, former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva commented on the behaviour of right-wing governments and recommended to the United States President Donald Trump that he takes care of his own country and leave Venezuela in peace.

By not investigating the U.S. for war crimes, the International Criminal Court shows colonialism still thrives in international law

On April 5, the United States revoked the visa of the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) chief prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, for her attempts to open an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by the U.S. in Afghanistan. A week later, judges at the ICC rejected Bensouda’s request to open a probe into U.S. involvement in Afghanistan.

CUBA | US Marks Bay of Pigs Anniversary by Imposing New Sanctions Against Cuba

WASHINGTON DC, April 17, 2019 - The Trump administration today marked the US defeat at The Bay of Pigs, by imposing fresh sanctions against Cuba with the re-imposition of limits on the amount of money Cuban Americans can send to relatives on the island and ordering new restrictions on U.S. citizen, non-family travel to Cuba.

Mike Pompeo Plans Anti-Venezuela Tour in Latin America

United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Colombia, from April 11 to 15, to promote President Donald Trump's interventionist agenda against Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro, the U.S. State Department announced Tuesday.

More Venezuela Sanctions as Trump Meets Carib leaders at Mar-a-Lago

PALM BEACH,  Florida, March 22, 2019 - Against the background of his meeting with leaders from the five Caribbean countries that generally support the U.S. call for an end to Maduro's rule in Venezuela, US President Donald Trump today slapped additional sanctions against the South American nation, in response to the kidnapping of a top aide to Juan Guaido who the U.S wants to see replace the embattled President Nicolas Maduro.
