GUYANA | GECOM seeks Jamaica's help in electoral process

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, August 31, 2019 - The Guyana Electoral Commission, GECOM has sought assistance from Jamaica’ s Office of Elections in relation to the verification process, the cross matching of fingerprints as well as the practice of data merging, as GECOM contemplates how to deal with the names of 300 thousand persons collected during the month-long house-to-house registration exercise in an effort to clean up the list.
