Passenger removed from LIAT flight for alleged threats

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, Aug. 7, CMC – The local police have launched an investigation into a recent incident at the V.C. Bird International airport in which a passenger was removed from a LIAT flight following remarks made to a flight attendant.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Jul 20, CMC – The former president of the Barbados Bankers Association,(BBA), Horace Cobham, says the financially troubled regional airline, LIAT, should consider implementing tough measures, including stop serving the countries that do not contribute financially to it in order to become commercially viable.

JOHNS, Antigua - March 31, 2015 - The regional airline, LIAT, said yesterday that it had taken note of the statements made by Antigua and Barbuda prime minister Gaston Browne regarding a rival airline as well as the need to rotate the chair of the shareholder governments of the financially strapped airline.
