LIAT discontinues service to Anguilla and Nevis

ST. JOHN’S , Antigua, Nov. 20, CMC – Regional carrier LIAT, has opted not to continue service to the islands of Anguilla and Nevis, following the expiration of a short tern arrangement with Caribbean Helicopters of Antigua .

PM Mitchell says Grenada prepared to offer LIAT subsidy

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, Sept 21, CMC – Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell said Wednesday that Grenada is prepared to provide the cash-strapped regional airline, LIAT, with a financial subsidy for it to service the island, but was not prepared to provide funds for the airline’s operations.

Dominica PM calls on LIAT to show more compassion to passengers

ROSEAU, Dominica, Sept 21, CMC – Dominica Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is urging the cash-strapped regional airline, LIAT, to improve its services to passengers saying “there must be a greater sense of humanism” in the way the airline conducts its operations.
